We all want more eyes on our marketing content.
Well, Instagram Stories (and pretty much any similar type of content on different social platforms) can do that for you.
But we're not only talking about getting more people to view your social media posts, but those views also result in more customers on your website, leading to the golden ticket – conversions. Read on to learn how to get more views on your Instagram Stories.
Short-Form Videos Let You Reach More People
I will say this louder for those in the back: short video clips are your best opportunity to grow and reach more people, clients and customers.
Why?
Because ALL social media platforms favour this type of content right now, it's this content that's keeping their users on their platforms because it's fun, fast, and highly rewarding for the viewer.
Examples of this type of content include the Stories format and the ever-growing Reels features found on so many social media sites now.
Ensure you're creating short-form video content to reach new and existing people.
Give Context to Your Instagram Stories
Stories are short, snappy, and have a 24hr shelf-life, so they don't need to be perfect.
HOWEVER, it's essential to give a brief intro to your posted Stories, so your viewers know what you're talking about.
Always provide a hook to get your viewer interested in your post – whether it's a teaser clip of what's to come or a caption that alludes to some invaluable information that they can't miss.
Use Engagement Tools on Your Instagram Stories
Use the various tools to drive viewers to engage with your content. These include stickers, polls, questions, and sliders (no, not the burger type of sliders).
Bonus Tip: Use the auto-captions feature found on Instagram Stories that dictates any voiceover on your posted clips. Most viewers will have you on mute so attract more attention to your content by giving them something to read if their volume is low.
Be Real on Your Instagram Stories
Stories are the perfect opportunity to be authentic. I mentioned before how the Stories format is less formal, so embrace it and be you, bloopers and all.
Show what happens behind the scenes or your failures this month. Open your brand to Q&A sessions and a Live AMA (Ask Me Anything).
Your audience wants to see the humans behind the brand, so be relatable and give them what they want to see.

Post Instagram Stories Semi-Frequently
I recommend that you post on your Stories 2-4 times per week.
Doing so will keep your audience engaged but not over-saturated with your content.
You must always show up with something valuable to share; otherwise, your viewers will switch off, and once they're gone, it's unlikely you'll ever get them back.
When you post to your Stories, your profile image gets the additional ring around it, highlighting your brand. This attracts more attention and allows you to feature on the Stories bar at the top of their feed.

Include a Call To Action On Your Instagram Stories
Okay, if you know me, you'll know how important a call to action (CTA) is at the end of every piece of content. No matter what you're posting or where you're posting it, you can (and should) always provide a CTA.
Guide your reader into taking action at the end of your post. Here are a few awesome examples for you:
Direct them to your website
Ask them to follow you
Offer them the chance to comment with their opinion
Get them to share your post with others
This is your greatest opportunity to convert your audience into customers, followers, or clients.
